The 2026-2027 Alabama Cycling Association Mountain Bike League and Race Series is now open for registration. Whether you're returning for another season or joining the ACA for the first time, registering as early as you can gives you the lowest pricing, guarantees your personalized race plate, and gets you ready for another incredible season of riding.
Understanding Registration
We know registering for a season is an investment, especially for families with multiple riders. Opening registration early gives you more flexibility to plan ahead, spread out the cost, and lock in the lowest available pricing.
Registration consists of two parts:
League Registration
This covers your rider’s membership in the Alabama Cycling Association, allowing them to participate with their team and enjoy all the benefits of ACA membership.Race Series Registration
Covers your athlete's entry to all official ACA race events.
Together, these two parts ensure your student athlete is ready for both riding with their team and the experience of racing.

When can I register?
Team Registration Opens
May 1st
Team Administrators are responsible for registering their team and paying the $150 team registration fee. Team registration must be completed before coaches and student-athletes can register.
Athlete & Coach Registration Opens
June 1st
Your Team Administrator will provide a special registration code that allows you to start the registration process. You can’t begin without the special registration code.
Registration Costs
Every MTB student athlete who wants to participate on a team in the ACA League has to register. League Registration gives student athletes access to all the benefits of ACA membership and participation with their local team—even if they choose not to compete in the races.
Race Series Registration
Race Series Registration covers your student athlete’s entry into all 6 official ACA League race events during the season, lasting from February to May. It provides mountain biking student athletes the ability to compete against other teams from Alabama, Mississippi and the panhandle of Florida.

register
early?
Early Bird Registration is the smartest way to prepare for next season. When you register early, you'll:
» Spread registration costs over several months instead of paying everything during the holiday season.
» Lock in the lowest Race Series pricing.
» Personalized race plate (available only for registrations completed by December 31).
As soon as you register as an ACA coach, you’ll be emailed a link to start the background check process. Registering early gives you plenty of time to complete all coaching requirements before the season starts.
