The host for the ACA Time Trial is Tuscaloosa County Park & Recreation Authority’s Munny Sokol Park South. This park offers something for everyone with almost 2,000 acres of green space including over 35 parks, boat landings, seven activity centers, an 18-hole award winning golf course, award-winning tennis facility, recreation and leisure for all ages, special events and more. Here you will discover the natural beauty of Tuscaloosa County’s flat lands, hills and mountains, with an abundance of lakes and the Black Warrior River.
Event Parking Fee
$5 per car per day
No online payment available.
Camping Info
Camping is available at Sokol Park through the Tuscaloosa County Park & Recreation Authority. You will reserve your location directly through Tuscaloosa County Park & Recreation Authority. The ACA does not handle camping payment.
Limited Camping, first come first serve
Sites include water hookup only

Volunteers Needed
We want to make sure the course is safe for our athletes as well as our spectators and we need your help to make that possible. From crossing guards to course sweepers, we have a variety of volunteer roles. Please consider donating a few hours of your time to help make this event a success.
Races can’t start until all volunteer spots are filled.
Field Layout
This is a map of the Munny Sokol Time Trial Race Venue. Entry to the venue is on the left of the map and shows spectator parking, team trailer parking, campsites, pitzone and race start/finish. Feel free to download the map and share with your team families to ensure a smooth race event experience.

Rules & Info
Parking for this race event is $5 per day per car.
THERE IS NO DAY-OF REGISTRATION. Registration closes February 16th at 11:59 PM
Do not ride inside the Pit Zone.
All dogs must be on a leash.
Race will not start until all volunteer slots are filled.
All attendees must have on a helmet if on a bike.
Awards will not begin until the entire course is taken down.
Smoking is prohibited at all Alabama Cycling events.
Any riding outside of the marked trail or Pitzone will be considered OUT OF BOUNDS and will not be covered under ACA insurance.
Failure to follow the rules outlined in the ACA rulebook could result in a penalty.
ACA expects good sportsmanlike conduct at all events.
Coaches can submit a petition to the ACA if they have any problems during the event.
Weekend Overview
The racecourse will open Friday, March 28th at 3:30 PM for early setup and packet pickup. Parking at this race event is $5 per day per car. Teams are allow to pre-ride from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Student athletes and coaches must have race plates on their bikes to pre-ride. The course will close at 5:30 PM.
