The ACA’s second race of this mountain bike season is at McClellan Multi-Use Trails. Located inside a former U.S. Army installation called Fort McClellan, these bike trails have 10+ miles of purpose-built singletrack and are perfect for riders of all ages. With a great variety of blue and green trail segments, the trails are known for winding through the woods. Trail names capture the history of the military base, community figures and local heros.

Parking Fee

$5 per car per day (Saturday and Sunday only)

Purchase day of race. No online purchase available.

Proceeds go to Anniston Parks & Rec

Volunteers Needed

We want to make sure the course is safe for our athletes as well as our spectators and we need your help to make that possible. From crossing guards to course sweepers, we have a variety of volunteer roles. Please consider donating a few hours of your time to help make this event a success.

Races can’t start until all volunteer spots are filled.

Rules & Info

  • THERE IS NO DAY-OF REGISTRATION. 

  • Race will not start until all volunteer spots are filled.

  • Awards will not begin until the entire course is taken down on Sunday.

  • Do not ride inside the Pit Zone.

  • All dogs must be on a leash.

  • All attendees must have on a helmet if on a bike.

  • Smoking is prohibited at all Alabama Cycling events.

  • Any riding outside of the marked trail or Pitzone will be considered OUT OF BOUNDS and will not be covered under ACA insurance. 

  • Failure to follow the rules outlined in the ACA rulebook could result in a penalty. 

  • ACA expects good sportsmanlike conduct at all events.

This is a map of the McClellan Multi-Use Trail race venue. Entry to the venue is on the left of the map and shows spectator parking, pitzone and race start/finish. Feel free to download the map and share with your team families to ensure a smooth race event experience.

Weekend Overview

The Pitzone will open Friday, March 14th at 3:30 PM for early setup and packet pickup. Teams are allowed to pre-ride Friday from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM. Student athletes and coaches must have race plates on their bikes to pre-ride. The course will close at 6:00 PM.
